Gus Garcia: I have been a fisherman my entire life, like many kids growing up along the beaches of Gig Harbor the water and fishing were an everyday part of growing up. Those early experiences led me to steps of the Evening Hatch and like many of the Fly Guides in the Central Basin and WA. I cut my teeth on the Yakima River and desert creeks of the East Side. A chance meeting on a river in Forks changed nearly everything for me and I started working with Gordy Gracey (www.fishingnorthwest.org). A decade has gone by and the love of fishing and guiding still drives me to the waters edge.
Teresa Garcia: Is the glue that holds this thing together and my favorite client. Besides keeping us all organized and moving in the right direction, Teresa is becoming an accomplished angler. Blessed with fish catching enzymes that attract fish she has caught large wild steelhead on the fly and salmon nearly jump in the boat when she is on the water.
